What People Are Saying

"When you are in a situation you don't always see how bad it is. Having an objective tool could be really helpful."

"This is a great idea. this would have been helpful when i was in the dating stage of my relationship. i have experienced domestic violence prior to my current relationship. because of my history when conflict would arise i was not always able to tell if it was normal conflict or i should be concerned."

Mental Health Professional (Oklahoma)

"When you have an individual who has experienced domestic violence if they are not intentional with stepping into the journey of healing there is a high chance they can get into a relationship with someone with similar traits. This would be extremely beneficial for that population and others too. Let me know how I can support you and connect you with other providers."

Meet The Founder

Hi, I’m Melissa—therapist, trauma-informed wellness practitioner, and Founder of Pulse.
I created this tool for the moments too many people face alone—when you're unsure, scared, or silently questioning if something feels off. Pulse is designed to meet you in those moments, with compassion, clarity, and connection to the support you deserve. My own experience with domestic violence during college fuels this mission. I’m committed to helping others through prevention, education, and healing—before harm escalates.
